Bemis Renews STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Certification
In accordance with Bemis’ Social and Environmental Responsibility objectives, Bemis announces that is has successfully renewed its largest STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is well recognized in the apparel industry for establishing chemical standards for environmental and consumer health and safety.
This certificate covers the products in the Bemis Sewfree range of construction adhesives, as well as 2-Layer Waterproofing Seam Tapes. Products are certified to the strictest Appendix 4, Class I limits and values, making them safe for all applications, including baby and child products.

The OEKO-TEX program at Bemis is a core component of our product sustainability strategy. In addition to innovation tracks to support development with sustainable inputs such as recycled and biobased content, and supporting apparel circularity, we have a foundational commitment to utilizing the best available chemistry to help improve human health and environmental impacts. This certification supports our 2025 goal to certify 90%+ of our product to OEKO-TEX and/or Bluesign programs.
